He is an experienced Principal and a founder and partner of both a public debt and equity fund, and a private debt and equity fund. He is an active private investor in start-up funds and fledgling companies, with in depth knowledge of Asset Management, Debt and Equity Securities, Mutual Funds, Trading Systems, Capital structure, bankruptcy and bankruptcy law, convertible debt, warrants, market making, reg SHO and short sales. Dr. Pilkington has a strong analytical and educational background having both taught chemistry at UMass and with a Physical Chemistry PhD (DPhil) from the University of Oxford, UK.
