David Goldstein, Esq., is an authority on investment fund operations and administration. His executive level experience spans the entire spectrum of private and public, foreign and domestic, investment fund types, as well start-ups, technology companies, money center banks, and investment management firms, giving him keen insight into industry best practices and standards.
His career includes general counsel for three top-tier fund administrators in the mutual fund, hedge fund, and venture capital industries, as well as leading the global fund administration legal team at SS&C Technologies. He was general counsel for a venture capital advisor and head of product development for an ETF advisor. Mr. Goldstein was CEO for Citigroup’s pension servicing business, including Citigroup Institutional Trust Company, overseeing $4 billion in investment funds. Similarly, he was president of Monarch Funds, a $3 billion money market mutual fund family. He was lead consultant for a World Bank/Russian Securities Commission program in the Commission’s development of licensed depositories (fund administrators and custodians).
David holds a J.D. from Tulane Law School and a B.S. Eng., Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, from the University of Michigan.
